i'm using a paper egg carton to hold eggs in place. i didn't cut out the bottoms. i wondered whether air flow would be adequate for the smaller end of the eggs but i never heard it mentioned aaaaaand,.

have a blundered? at 16hrs incubation, should i remove eggs quickly and cut bottoms out?

whew!

If it's never mentioned, it may not matter. I just hatched in regular egg cartons myself, and while my skills are not great yet, I have six little peepers running around the brooder, trying to drown! If you are concerned and want to switch them, why not cut up a different carton, and transfer them next time you turn?

Good luck!

if your's made it like that i think i'm cool. if an expert says cut the bottoms out, i'll transfer them into a prepared bottomless carton.

THX!
