Oops - He got me!

I agree. I won't be chained to carrying a net around. I have never babied this one either but I suspect his first "mother" did. I got him when he was 5 - 6 months old. I've had him about a month. Don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. ?? But, whatever - I am NOT a rooster psychologist! If he can't behave, he is GONE.
 
I started carrying an old dip net so I could "net" him. Intended to force him down and peck on his head a bit. So, he threatened me again last week - I took a swipe with the dip net. Almost had him but he was able to back out of it. But, that did it. He didn't know I could touch him from that far away. Now he never says a word while I am outside but if looks could kill. LOL When I go in the house though he begins to crow his loudest. Ha ha, I chased you away. That's okay. I want him mean enough to take care of my chickens but he has to learn I am the biggest rooster. We are on our way I think.
