Opa's place -Where an old rooster visits with friends

CCMH, I too wondered why you are electrifying the top. I run a hot wire at 6" and a second at 18" and it has kept every thing out.

Well, that's another mental scar I don't need.

Goodness, I can't even think because I'm so stressed! Mom asked me a simple math problem after I had been stressed to the point of crying, and my mind went blank. After I couldn't answer it, I kicked myself over and over for like 15 minutes and then apologized. All because of a flipping math problem! It's ALWAYS like this! I can't do anything about it! Also, I've been so stressed over the past week my mind and body are numb, I want to kill everyone in sight and I'm stuck in yandere mode. I'm not usually like this! But whenever my parents ask me if I'm okay, I have to lie to them because they're busy with their stuff, and I don't matter, really. As long as I get good grades (Which I do, at least I can latch on to that for support.) and do what they ask + more, who cares about my mental state?

Well, here's to another bout of depression. I'd talk to Mom and Dad about it, but it's not like they'd care, I mean, they have Mom and Dad things to do and I'm supposed to be dealing with this sort of thing on my own.

Sorry, I know you don't need to hear about this. Y'all have much more important things to do, like take care of yourselves and your pets, stuff like that...

How do you approach your M & D about things like that PK? Do you normally ask them stuff about what's bothering you, or do you wait and ask here first? I only ask because that's what I would have done at your age. (if I had the advantages you have now) I am very shy. And my parents were always annoyed (seven kids can be a little over the top) with additional problems, so I would have to figure it out myself. Oy.

My dad, being a teacher, was a little bit more understanding and had more patience. My Mom had a lot more pressure at home with all of us..........Some parents get caught up in the "grade thing" and forget that you have to be a person with emotions too. Talk to them, tell them where it hurts...........don't wait til you want to "POP"

Haha... I have this sort of complex where I have to be the perfect daughter and not a bother, so actually talking to them about it is out of the question. Heck, even asking them for petty things is nerve-wracking!

Well, I'm the one with the grade thing... I mean, I'm good at school and all (Seriously.) so I'm using that as my mental support.

Sorry, you shouldn't have to listen to my whining... How are you doing?

I know you may think that your Mom and Dad are too busy with their things, but I can assure you, as a mother, that nothing is more important to them than you. It may seem like you don't matter but that could not be farther from truth. You need to tell your parents how you are feeling, I know that they would want you to tell them and not keep it from them. We are "here for you", but, your parents are literally there for you. Growing up is a terribly difficult thing and you need everyone who cares for you to help you through. We're here to support you, but your parents are right there and you need to let them know how you are feeling.

Darn it, stop crying self! ...Aw, you know what? I don't care. I don't care. I'll cry if I HAVE TO!

Why can't I just go into an inactive mode?

I'm more mature than this!

I'll make sure to tell them about this soon...

Crying is not a bad thing, don't let anyone tell you it is! It is an emotional outlet and I think of it as a cleansing of sorts. Letting the sorrow flow from you and then seeing things more clearly when the sorrow is gone. One day, you'll look back and realize these feelings are just part of you growing up and believe me, while it may seem now that you'll never get there, it will happen. Being conscience of getting good grades is an admirable trait, stressing yourself about them is a waste of your time and energy. You're a very intelligent young lady and we all recognize that. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Now, go give your parents a hug, they probably need one as much as you do!

...Okay. I'm sorry for showing my rather immature side.

I'll try, and I will. Thank you so much.

We've been having some melting of snow the last week and today and tonight are having some rain to fiinsh off most of it. It's a muddy mess now but at least the snow is almost gone. I know we're not done with winter yet but am glad some signs of it are gone for now!!!!

I hope you all have a pleasant evening and great day tomorrow!

Well, at least it seems that Spring is around the corner.

Talked with Mom, all she said was "Stop it with the 'I didn't get something, I'm worthless' bull(delcheated)" Well, at least I got it off my chest.. Thanks for listening.

You too, ma'am!
