Hi everyone.

Well, i jumped the gun a teensy bit and made corn beef and cabbage yesterday. It was on sale,(1.58/lb.). It was so good i may go to town and get another one. I love reuben sandwiches too!!! I'm still following along here. Lots of posts. In the morning i head down to the cities again to pick up my 2 friends coming in from Florida. All day event.

My girls went out in the muddy run today for the first time since last fall. It's all good, less poo to clean up in the coop.

Proud to be an ol' Geezer!!

But thats just a personal opinion from growing up in an Irish household and never learning to like it, even though it was made often.
Also. Potato soup. I can tolerate that though.
I just got back from taking Max for a walk. It felt good to be able to walk on the sidewalk and not worry about slipping and falling on my butt.

Maggie I'm glad you had a slip free walk. Guess what I got today? Nancy(Black Sumatra hen) LAID AN EGG!!

I was wrong when I thought she had laid one about a month ago(that was a Lakenvelder egg

). I am thrilled! So guess what you'll be getting in a few weeks?

Well this old boy is about ready to kick back and watch a little televison before bed. I recorded a show call "The Natural History of Chickens" that looked interesting.

My ducklings today have discovered they like nibbling at the cuffs of my pajama pants. I dont know what is so fascinating about that,lol.
