Ladies, I'm off to bed. Have a great evening!

Hey Suz, that sounds pretty good to me! Reasonably healthy too. Mine definitely doesn't qualify as healthy, especially since I ate ALL the licorice

I sure wish that goofy Bonnie Parker would make up her mind.

First she is hoarding eggs and won't get off the nest, so i go get some nice fertile SLW eggs from my brother for her to hatch and now she turns her nose up and won't stay on the nest.

Just came in from taking Granny's dog out. Sure a big change in the weather. I think yesterday it was 60 degrees and today the predicted high is 38. Today is the first day of spring according to the calender but according to my cold hands spring is a long ways off.

Now that the coffee is ready the day is starting to look much better. A little snow is nothing compared to what the folks in North Dakota are facing. The Red river is raging and seeing pictures of house with water up to their eaves makes my inconvienent cold spell seem like nothing.

You know what is really inspiring around here Sam...is when disaster such as flooding is predicted, communities come together and really help their neighbours out. Last week as the Red river was rising, Fargo and surrounding smaller communities closed the schools so the children could help fill and place sand bags,,,, The really inspiring thing is that the kids are willing to go out in sub degree weather and accually do it!
Soon the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers will thaw and there will be more massive floodings do to ice jams and snow melt, communities will depend on school children along with their parents to help protect properties of people they do not know....this is why I love to live in country, a superb sence of community!

Morning! We're doing lots of cleaning today!

I took a really long nap yesterday and didn't feel tired until 2am. That's gonna bite me in the butt today.

Good late morning or early afternoon everyone.
Woody thanks for saying it's beautiful here-some people don't find it so, but Texas is home and I love it here(despite the incredibley hot summers).
Yak Lady you have a beautiful place and beautiful yaks. Very interesting animals.
Sally Hope your DH is feeling better today. Is licorice on the menu again tonight? My DH called this morning saying he won't be home until tomorrow so no cooking for me tonight-hmmm maybe I'll have licorice for dinner!

You folks with the cold temps try to stay warm today. It's supposed to get down in the mid-30s here tonight. That sure is going to feel cold after the warm temps we've had.
I was outside a few minutes ago and we had a bit of a gust of wind-thought I saw a big cloud of smoke, panicked, checked it out a little closer and realized it was actually a cloud of pine pollen-no wonder my eyes are burning this morning. Spring has sprung for sure!
Hope you all have a great day!

Ah yes, the pine pollen. My truck is supposed to be silver. All winter it has been greenish, because of the algae growing on it- too much rain! Now it's going to be golden with green undertones.

Can you tell I'm not real into truck washing?

DH is better, still sleeping a lot. Poor guy wanted to till the garden this weekend, that's not happening!

PK, I know what you mean! Don't take a nap today though, fight the urge. Feel free to come clean here, too!

The ducks are going to have their first swim today, I'm still working on the logistics of it. I know it's going to be hilarious mess!
