Open mouth moderate to fast breathing

Hello all, just curious:

I’ve been monitoring my hens through the camera and I’ve seen a few breathing a bit fast and with mouths open. I live in south florida, is this a regular behavior for sunny weather or should I be worried. The coop has plenty of ventilation, they spend about half of the day inside during peak heat but often come don to to the run area for food and water.

Chickens will pant when hot. As weather warms I would keep an eye on them.

It looks like regular panting to me. It appears that you have a mix of breeds, and some of them might not be as heat hardy as the others, and will pant more.
