Yes they have been outsideHere's a good homemade recipe, just mix it all and give it to them:
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons molasses OR 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon potassium chloride* (optional)
It shouldn't be in replacement of their water, but rather it addition too. You can give it to her in a dropper if you like, but you need to be careful not to choke her. For now, separate her out from the other chicks. You don't want them catching whatever she has. Watch for any more symptoms that might narrow down the problem. Have they ever gone outside before?
No symptoms are still going on but other chick isnt really sleeping on her I will catch a vid! Thank you for all your help it really means alotSo you're saying that her symptoms have stopped? That's actually a good thing. But just do what I said and separate her, keep her warm, etc. Grab a video as soon as you see her doing it. They way they gasp actually helps determine the cause. Keep watch for new symptoms. But hopefully it's just something minor, and you won't have a problem!
I dont really know opening mouth and tounge is going up and downIs she panting? Or does it look like she is gagging?
Panting but more heavy breathingIs she panting? Or does it look like she is gagging?
