Opinions needed on FEED...

I just wanted to get some opinions on which kind of feed I should use. I have 5 month old birds and have fed them Purina Chick Start and Grow since they were a day old. I will be switching them to Layer feed in a few weeks and while at a different feed store than I usually use I seen that they carried F R M(?), and it was like 1/2 the price of the Purina! I have a small flock, 11 chickens and a duck, so I don't mind paying more. But if the F R M is equal in quality I would prefer to switch. Any sugestions. I DONT want to feed them junk, I care for them alot and want to give them the best feed. Even if it costs alittle more. The feed store wants to sell their feed so I don't think they would be totaly honest.

Me either.. It was a white bag with Red and Blue writing... I'm almost positive it was F R M, or F.R.M.?

In a local feed store here where I live...called Alachua Feed and Lumber. But I've seen the sign for it in front of several feed stores around my area.

I Googled it... It's F-R-M, stands for Flint River Mills...

Nothing wrong with FRM feed, IMO. I use it or Southern States. Not impressed that Purina offers anything more for the money. Their dog food sure doesn't, IMO.

The only FRM product that I use is their Super Scratch. I like it.
