Opinions on age and gender of this Buff Orpington?

How old is the bird now?

Doing the math, it would be closer to 5-6 weeks old. Since it looked to be 2-3 weeks old roughly 2.5 weeks ago.

My initial knee-jerk reaction was also 3 to 5 weeks of age from first set of photographs.
Second set of photographs appears to be 5 to 7 weeks of age.
I thought I saw a hint of pink at the waddle, if so, then I'd vote cockerel.
