Opinions on best egg layers

I have just recently began receiving eggs from my girls on a regular basis. I have 5 pullets, 2 Black Australorps, 2 Gold Wyandottes and 1 Speckled Sussex. I am getting between 3 and 5 eggs daily. The first eggs I collected were on January 29th 2015 and since then I have collected 115 eggs. I am happy with the mix in breeds, and since they are in a tractor style coop they do not get handled too often. The egg size overall I would say is average, but the taste is extraordinary.

You are correct, pullets aren't a breed, a pullet is a hen under one year of age. I was pointing out the age of my chickens to show how well my Black Australorps, Gold Laced Wyandottes, and Speckled Sussex are producing at such a young age, which are the breeds I referenced in my post.
I was under the impression that the original poster was requesting information about breeds and how well they produced eggs. Since that was the premise to the question, I felt it would be useful information to not only say that the breeds I have, Australorp, Wyandottes and Speckled Sussex are good producers, but to also give reference to the age of the birds to give a more complete answer.

Based on your response to my answer clearly I missed my mark.

Thanks for pointing this out.

I thought that at first, but thought, just in case I'll add it.
Lol. Funny

I just scanned a lot of this thread, and was surprised that I didn't see Black Stars or Black Sex Links listed. They're a very nice productive bird. I prefer them over the cinnamons, red sex links, and other light colored birds simply because I like the way the sun plays off the irridescent beetle green/purple feathers.

Personality: Gotta love Dominiques and EE.

You must have missed my post, because I specific mentioned Black Sex Links (Black Stars), and I believe someone else did as well. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. I've been especially impressed by their persistence in laying well in really cold winter weather.

X2.

I don't think I mentioned it, but for what it's worth, I considered doing a BSL/Australorp breeding project... But I realized I can't do any better than my one-a-day my Aussies lay already, so it was moot. :)

Being Hybrids, Black Sex Links don't breed true anyway. Both BSLs and Aussies are excellent layers, so likely the offspring of such a cross wouldn't have laid as well as either parent.
