How’s it going on the investigation? After a few more weeks are you thinking pullet or cockerel?

I still go back and forth lol but I’m leaning more towards pullet lately. Her comb hasn’t really changed much since I posted this. Her legs are so thick though which makes me still think cockerel sometimes

I have one like that! At first I was thinking cockerel because of the comb and thick legs but now I am not so sure. Time will tell I guess!

Some can be difficult! It's a beautiful bird though.

That is a pretty little boy, those three rows of peas on the comb are very well defined so there is very little doubt.
His color is amazing and he looks pretty intelligent so you still lucked out.

I also see curved saddle feathers back there, another cockerel trait.
When you hear crowing, you'll know!

Update: Everyone was right. Rosemary turned out to be a boy Those saddle feathers...
he got returned to the lady we got him from and exchanged for a hen. Super bummed we can’t have roosters where we live. He was so sweet.
