Dang little varmits! Scared the living daylights outta me just 5 minutes ago! Was cleaning out under all the pallets to put in new hay and found two of those nasty critters - I quickly and humanely disposed of them - yuck!

Geez - I didn't know those freeloaders had taken up residence in my barn right there with my chickens! Uuuuuuggggghhhh!

Pest - Predator - GONE!

We trap coons a lot, but they can't get the girls in the coop at night.
Why do people who will carve a chunk of muscle out of a cow or pig be grossed out about eating other mammals? Coons taste better than cows and they are free of contaminants like hormones, antibiotics etc. We eat rabbits, coons, grouse and chicken. Skunks are just too foul. Nothing is as good as bacon. Yum!
