O'possums

I'm with you PurpleChicken,i don't know what to do now with them dang oppossum...! I'm not really so concerned about any disease they may or may not have or spread, i'm concerned about my chickens.! I don't believe they would try so hard to get into my coop like a raccoon would, although they may, i don't know. I like that they hunt rodents, and rodents are a problem for me right now,so i thinking, i'm going to start releasing them again from live traps...They don't seem overly abundent here, i catch maybe one to every ten coons..

Ummm....objectivity?? So far, the "wildlife management" advocate in this thread is the only one who has been caught making false claims (that claim about lepto).

...and accusing me of making false claims is civil discourse? I call them like I see them. I was ready to let this matter drop 3 pages ago. This is my last post on the subject, so go ahead and get your final jabs in, if you please....while I do a little dance....

Well PC and duppydo if ya want some more info on O'possums then hop on over to the emergancy board and read

possum got my silke (s) shotgun got the possum.

Me I would rather be safe than sorry. I owe those chickens a good safe life and I don't know a possible preditor anything but a quick death.
