My 4 month old OEGB pullet is egg bound. I thought she had something going on with her crop as it's full of water, but after more reading and learning that crop issues typically arise from something else and the advice of the ever amazing @Wyorp Rock, I did an internal check of her vent and discovered what I believe is an egg about 1/4 inch in her vent. I did a warm soak with epsom salt around 1am this morning with no success. I kept her inside and covered the cage with towels, offering her a roosting bar, nesting box and water with Tums in it. She won't take anything orally. Is there anything that I can give her by injection to help her along? She fights whenever I insert my pinky to check for the egg and whenever I tried to lube her up after the soak last night. What are my options for treatment? I don't have a vet that will see her, so that's not an option sadly. Please share any and all advice tips and/or tricks to help me help my sweet pullet. I have done some searching throughout the night. I do have to work today for a few hours but I can probably get my dad to pick up whatever could help her from TSC or a store, as soon as his dialysis finishes up (usually around 9am, so hopefully soon, but I'm not 100% sure he can). Thank you all so much

You can try massaging the area, this time putting a little more pressure to help her squeeze it out.
I did try this in her last bath but I was worried that I would break the egg. Do I just massage back and forth along her keel bone (starting below her crop) or in a circular motion? Seems like I read about back and forth being most helpful. Is it best to try checking her internally while she's in the bath? She seems to enjoy the bath a lot. She fights me whenever I insert a pinky to check her vent. I'm about to put her in the bath now and it's deep enough to cover her vent but I found out early this morning that she floats. Thank you for your time and advice

Looking at the pictures of what she passed, it appears to be large clots of blood. Antibiotics? Anything that will help?

There could be damage to the oviduct, in which case there isn't too much you can help with unless you somehow manage to get the egg out (and even then it's hard). Can you see the egg, or is it still firmly inside her? I'm so sorry this is happening to you!

No, Enroflaxin isn't safe for chickens, I'm sorry to say. When a hen has a broken egg inside her, it causes a whole new set of problems like Egg Peritonitis (when the matter can't escape and causes internal infection). I know that you said you can't see a vet, but without one she will most likely not survive. Can you feel any broken pieces inside her, or possible try pulling them out gently?
