Options for pop door- what works best? What about a cutout covered with a cloth?

Can you post pics? If coop and run are attached and completely predator proof you don't need a pop door and they should be fine with the door left open (or even removed).

ETA: what kind of predators do you have around you?
It's a big door and wind would make the coop very cold.. especially in winter here in MI
 
Sadly I don't have a current picture of the coop and run. This was from when we were completing the run door. But anyway you can see here where the door is for the coop, we're planning on cutting a hole in the bottom so they can go to and from their coop/run area. In case anyone is wondering, there is a latch door so they cannot exit into the yard on their own.
Is that 1/2" hardware cloth? And a dirt floor? You might need a wire apron to keep diggers out.
