Options for predator proofing my property, 5 acres, Ohio

2 Livestock Guardian Dogs

Raised from pups with your critters. Karakachan are best, much lest training needed and stick around. Great Pyr's are good with birds too, but tend to wander, so you need adequate fencing. Anatolian Shepherds are okay but a 50/50 they will not be flock friendly. The only predators I have issues with are rats that know how to avoid the dogs. Nothing else gets my animals anymore. And I went through a lot of losses prior.

Here is a small duck run that goes out into the water...
Would it be ok for 10-12 ducks to make cages for them basically framing a box out of treated plywood, 12*4*2', then facing all six sides with 1/2" hardware cloth, then rotating them around the pond like chicken tractors?

I'm not sure if I understand what you're wanting to build sorry! Can you explain it better? As long as you make a fully enclosed pen big enough for dry land and swimming both it'll work
