orange beading on egg? help??

You don't have to say sorry LOL. Everyone here to help. Have you examined the eye? My first thought would be that she may have some hatch debris still on her and that its maybe a bit gunked up with it. I would try to gently bathe the eye with some plain warm water but try not to get her too wet so she dosnt chill. If after you have done this and the eye lids have not parted have a good look to see if they are fused together? If she has got fused together lids she still should be fine. I've read of people with totally blind chickens that do well.

Well I cleaned it off. She's still not opening it yet, but it's not fused together because I saw the little eye underneath. I guess I'll just wait and see if the cleaning helped at all. Either way it's sure not slowing her down!
Does anyone have any idea what breed they might be? I hatched them from eating eggs I got at a natural food store.

I know I might be biased, but they're some of the prettiest little chicks I've ever seen. :)

I had a couple in my batch of mutts that looked like that. Mine where light brown leghorn crosses. From what I've heard a lot of fertile eggs sold in store come from white leghorns so maybe they are a leghorn of some kind?
