Good luck on your project! Here is a recent pic of one of my Spangled Russian Orloff hens. You might consider adding them to your breeding project, as beside the nice coloring, they have wonderful temperaments and are good winter layers

We've definately thought about it--but not a lot of people in the US have LF orloffs--or they are funky non-good colors--and the spangling gene works different...

Soo MANY ways to go! Like I need incentive to get MORE chickens.

I think the brown & yellow spotted one will be the one to watch. Allthough that mostly yellow with black stripes one is hiding buff & orangy pin feathers under its fluff.
