How the heck did I miss this thread!! I typed mottled into the search and this was like the first 4 results!! So I clicked on it and read the first sentance.. and thought.. heyyy, that sounds reallyyy farmilliar... THEN i saw it was Sommer!! haha

going back to read it all now!! (had to comment so it would be in my 'Show your posts'!!)

I really like the colors you're breeding. They are certainly some of the prettiest layer chickens I've seen. Have you given any thought to adding a small crest to keep things interesting? Keep up the good work! If I ever get my runs going, I may be in line for some eggs.
