Hehehe, dignified? Finn is rarely dignified. He runs about 3' up a tree, then back down and acts like he was really chasing something. I keep looking up, thinking there will be a squirrel, but nah, he's just being a goof. All day he's been meowing at the basement door, hoping to get back down to the new world he discovered.

I need a video of Sammie Jo chasing Finn. She is my 20 week old Delaware colored pullet who lives in the Old Hens' Retirement Home and she loves to chase him until he runs underneath one of the coops. Cracks me up-she'll spot him, put her head down, wings out and zoom at him as fast as she can. The other day, she chased him under the bantam coop. He hid then turned the tables on her. When she came around the back corner, stalking him, he shot out at her and chased her a short distance. Then, she chased him right back, LOL.

Speaking of "cat relaxing", I just took this pic of Roux relaxing in the chair behind me. It seems that our mighty hunter caught himself a squirrel this morning as the head and tail are on our back porch. The girls found it before I did! Peanut was trying to make off with tail to play a game of keep away with the other chickens. LOL!! Anyway, I have to hand it to Roux, he eats almost the entire squirrel when he catches one and then he sleeps his squirrel hangover off for about 12 hours. I will probably find him in the same chair tonight at 9:00 PM.
