Life father like son. PRECIOUS!! Isn't it funny how more often than not cats take up with the people who profess to dislike them? It is like they have something to prove. LOL!

This made me think of a Siamese I had a long time ago. Smokey hated and avoided everyone but me. Until one day a woman I didn't know very well came over to our house. Of course Smokey had to curl up right on her lap and proceed to drink out of her glass! I told the woman to just shoo her away from her glass and she said "She can have anything she wants...I'm not moving!" I didn't realize until that point how scared this poor woman was of cats.

I still sort of laugh at that one (mean of me I know).

Ha! They know who desperately wants to love on them and who is scare or afraid. Of course they gravitate towards those that don't want them near. Sheer perverseness.

Dodger went out to "help" with chicken chores. He and the roosters have a tenuous relationship at best...

Does Dodger get the best of your roosters or is it the other way around? :) Our cat Roux, always gets along with the chickens. He used to get along with our rooster too until one day the rooster got aggressive with me and in a flash Roux became this fierce "Big Cat" and threw himself in between the rooster and me. I quickly picked him up deciding that him defending my honor was not worth the pain he would have to endure and the cost of a trip to the vet to get him sown up. We rehomed the rooster the next day. :)

I am laughing with you on that one! Our cat does the same thing to my mother-in-law. She is a big ole "cat hater" so I secretly enjoy it when our cat won't leave her alone. The last time she was here he tried to get in her purse.

Dodger learned early on that the chickens could and would beat up on his little fluffy butt. He mostly gives them a wide berth and they ignore him. Occasionally he can't hold it in and will "chicken bowl" by running through them. That always gets him chased by an angry guinea though, so he only does it rarely. Silly goober.

Sounds just like Finn, although, I no longer have guineas. When my chicken numbers go way down, I may get more, though. I like the crazy goonie-birds.
