Thanks, and today, we have tornado watches and high winds, torrential rains coming. He's sleeping on the corner bench on the covered wraparound porch with the warm winds blowing over him, his favorite way to sleep. It's very warm today. But, if the rains start up again and he starts getting wet, he'll be crying to come inside. He loves being dried off with a towel, LOL.

Sounds like Finn's day is starting off nicely. Pampered little guy, lol.

Hope the weather doesn't get too harsh for all of you!

Me, too. Once, when the outer rings of a tornado got us, a 50' healthy oak tree was completely uprooted and fell across the back corner of the chicken pen. I'm more concerned for my chickens and cat than for us when we have severe weather. I have nightmares of my chickens being thrown all over the county when a tornado hits.

Yeah, that is a scary thought! I grew up in tornado country (Kansas) and have seen plenty of those things first hand...not something I care to see again.

Stay safe Cyn!

Oh, Kansas, been across it several times when we were stationed out west and had to drive home. Once we had a very otherworldly experience in Kansas. Turned off an exit to find something to eat and pulled into a parking lot. There was a van. The people in it were dressed like the Charles Manson gang, long prairie-style dresses, very strange, women and one guy in the van that we saw when they came out. And then, we saw a sheriff's car sitting back, watching them. Creeped us out big-time. Never have felt that way before or since. We pulled out without stopping and they pulled out after us. It was the most bizarre experience.

"otherworldly", "bizarre", strange people...yep, that's Kansas! LOL

Hahaha, yep, from my experience! I'm not stopping in the state next time we breeze through, if we ever do again. LOL. That was just the weirdest thing ever! But, you left so you're only marginally weird!

Yep, I left and moved to Key West...where people seemed much more normal to me, lol.
