Cyn, so sorry to hear poor Finn is injured. Thank goodness for break away collars! I hope he's better today![]()
He seems to be doing well. The abrasions are healing up, no sign of infection. He's going in and out as normal again. But, man, he is really shedding! Good grief. I've brushed an entire cat's worth of hair out of him since he got hurt.Cyn, how is Finn doing?

DH was going out to get the mail when he heard cats fighting on the power line easement. He ran down and found Finn going at it with a gray cat, probably the same one Finn fought all the way down the mountain a few weeks ago. He chased them, but Finn was always just out of reach. They fought all through the woods and down the hill, yet again. Finally, DH lost sight of them and came home and in a little while, so did Finn. He seemed fine at first, not one scratch on his face....then, I saw his legs. They are shredded! And I think I saw a bite mark on the side of one near the shoulder, too. Both were bleeding badly, so more Vetericyn and I just don't know what to do with him. He obviously hates this other cat with a passion. I'm very happy he's had all his shots. I don't know. Don't have a trap, would have to buy one, I guess. Geez, cat drama is making me nuts! I have enough to worry about. At least with dogs you can fence them in, but cats are a special PITA.
ETA: We will take him to the vet tomorrow. His right paw is obviously painful, plus he is really hurting all over, looks like to me.
