Orchard yummies

    My chickens and ducks are having a wonderful time these days. Plums, apples and late figs are such treats for them.

    See, this is why I moved my chicken coop out where the mini orchard we planted is. In a couple years when they are producing and falling all over the ground, I got a little clean up crew! LOL

    We have figs!!! It produces at least three times each year. I am going out right now and pick some. Do you break them open or leave them whole?

    We have peaches right now that they'll attack as soon as I set them in the treat bowl. Good thing too because this year the peaches are so small and dropping from the trees before they get ripe due to the drought.
