Oh, go ahead and order 1 rooster

Although I'd stay away from the sex link roos. When I was a young child, my mother raised chickens for eggs. (we had 35 red sexlinks) Although with that order, we accidentally got not 1, not 2, but 4 roosters. My parents raised them. They were pretty, but horrible beasts. I was only 3 years old and attacked ruthlessly by the monsters. I couldn't go outisde. That said, I didn't lay my eyes on another rooster until I turned 6

I would order at least 2 roos if you want to end up with one. Why not?? They are very cheep, and you can get the breed you select. Raising them with the flock you do not have the possibility of bringing in a diease if you get one from outside the flock later. Also, you will be better able to cull for disposition. Just my thoughts. .........stan
