Ordering from Cackle - Australorps & Buff Orpingtons

Hello,

We are getting Australorps, and Buff Orpingtons. I am ordering 3 Buff Orp roos, 6 Buff Orp hens, and 6 Aussie hens; ASAP.

I am only keeping a few though; so I will give the rest of them away.

I can't wait - just sharing my joy/excitment!

Wow 5 roos is kinda alot. I had 1 to 6 hens and they were all fertal. Until 2 days ago....he attacked one of the kittens and broke its leg. And of course the kids saw so when hubby got home he put kitten and roo down. Not what I wanted to do but I felt it needed done.

Ive got 13 Buff Orphingtons chicks now strait run. Eventually, I will get rid of all roos but 1. I think 1 will keep something like 13 hens fertal.

I agree with Amysue ,unfortunately I think you may want give away some of your roo's.
That is kinda alot of Roo's for the hens and you will have battles on your hands in the long run. You will love the Buff girls though, their personality can not be beat. They are beautys too when all those feathers come in. Two of the sweetest and most loving I have are two of my buffs. Trudy
