Ordering Medications: Pain and Antibiotics

Can I order pain med and antibiotics for my ducks online without going to vet?
Do I need any kind of MD prescription. Would love to have medication on hand, as ALL my duck emergencies
happen on holidays, weekends, or after hours.

There are a couple places online that you can order meds. One is First State Vet Supply, which is actually owned by a vet and doesn't require a prescription, http://www.firststatevetsupply.com/. Another is Twin City Poultry Supply, http://www.twincitypoultrysupplies.com/. I'm not sure if they require one, but I don't think they do. HTH.
