I think you councillor deserves a chance to campaign for you- might be offended if you go to paper first. Remember the media is there to entertain...publicity can work either way...but I think you have a good case, especially if you can document the city official to whom you spoke and the date/time.

i actually totally backed out of the whole thing...mainly because nothing came of it, i never got a letter, never heard from the city, nothing. my plan is basically to let sleeping dogs lie and thats what got me thinking that if i go to the paper, thats one dog that will be wide awake!!!!

Well, it specifically mentions goats, then says any OTHER animals over 25 pounds, so it doesn't matter that your goats don't weigh 25 pounds.

right, and thats where i messed up in assuming that pygmy goats were ok..that and when i called the lady that answered the phone said they were fine..the police and animal control not only know that i have them, but they come by to pet them even.
luckily this guy seems to be making himself scarce this week so maybe it will die down.
