Yes! and he is so pretty. I named him Hef. Because of his young 'chicks'. His coop is going to be called the playboy mansion.

I'm going today to pick up 2 more! I am buying those 2 seramas that Jeanine(CloverLeaf) had in the auction. I fell in love with that tiny roo!

But don't worry, I'm still planning on that trio from you.

I'm also going to need (or atleast be on the look out) for 2 smaller females. I'm going to put the hen I'm getting with Frankie. She is older and too big for the roo right now and Jonnie is getting pretty beat up from Frankie and needs someone to help her out. (poor girl needs a rest, Frankie just 'loves' her too much)

Lol yes, young Serama roos tend to be that way. I can tell you that they do settle down. My Romeo is 6 months old now and was a wild thing a month ago - he is finding his groove, lol so to speak and it's getting better. I'm glad you still want your trio! and yes I will find you a couple ladies too. My first batch will be hatching the week of the 20th and then I will be setting another batch on July 1, then August 1, September 1 and probably the last one on October 1. I'm taking the winter off this year (yeah right

) to fill egg orders (they are backing up!) and grow out any of the chicks that do not sell. I'm so very excited about the hens I'm bidding on (I won't even tell you what my max bid is on them but let's just say I don't think anyone else will be winning them - I've completely lost my mind and went off the deep end lol) - now just to figure out who to pair them with

And I love the name Hef

I will be getting mine on Saturday.

I will hatch out chicks of a breed of your choice. I'll try first to find local hatching eggs, but might ship them in if I can't find a breeder to meet me at one of the shows here in the Northwest. Will raise them at least a month before swap, but I have to know way ahead of time to make the connections. I only like to buy show quality/breeder quality eggs, and I prefer hatching American and heritage English birds, but wouldn't mind doing a few other breeds. Please no silkies! Prices will vary - cost of the eggs, age of the chicks by the swap, etc. I do keep track of all my expenses including electric for incubating and brooding, so I know what my bottom line is per day, varying a small amount with feed efficiency of the chicks.
