ok so I'm a total novice at this! I just wanted to get some advice on what to do now. There are three more rolling around in the bator. How long should I leave him in there before opening as I don't want to shrink wrap anyone?!?!?!?

We have what I THOUGHT was three more babies yesterday to add to the one that hatched previously, but my daughter went out and found a fourth new one! I have no idea how it got there, since I had already removed what I thought were the "duds". It was probably being sneaky. It seems to be a common occurrence around here, especially since the first chick hatched over a WEEK ago!

The chicks can go up to 3 days without food and water due to the risidual yolk sack they absorb at hatch time, so you could technically leave them in the bator that long. I have only hatched a few times myself now, but I don't open the bator to grab chicks unless there are no visible pips. Good luck. And congrats on the hatch! I have eggs hatching in my bator right now too!
