Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 22 - Corvallis @ the Fairgrounds!!!

I had a local gentleman contact me yesterday and again today looking for a bantam rooster for his young girls. I directed him in the way of a cochin since he wanted something gentle yet protective (I love my cochin roosters) but he is open to suggestions as long as it meets this criteria. He has standard Jersey Giant girls and a young flock of bantam pullets (12-14 weeks old). He would like the rooster to be in this age range if possible or just slightly older. It would have to be local to my area or someone willing to get him down here or at least close (I would be willing to help some if I could). He is also coming to the swap to look for more bantam girls. Let me know if anyone has a rooster that might help him out

I have several bantam salmon Favs, and also one blue salmon Fav boy. The salmons are right in the age range he's looking for, the blue salmon is a couple weeks younger, but is outside and has been for a few weeks.

I don't know when I could get it down there, but I'm sure we can figure something out.

I could probably pick a roo up Friday night in Canby and at least get him to the Dallas area - might be a few days before I could get him to Philomath? I also have a d'anver roo that my daughter has as a pet but he is older (5 months). Let me know

The Fav roosters sound like good fit too for him. I have two cross roosters, Cochin / Jersey Giants. Not looking huge like a lot of my JG crosses but sturdy. One is black and oneis blue w/orange coming in on his wings. Looking pretty. I also have BLRW roosters, many to choose from.

I am heading for Albany on Thursday morning if you need bus service for a fav rooster.

Thanks guys! Let me send him an email and see if any of these catch his eye. It has to be a bantam rooster. He wants it for his bantam flock. He was pretty adamant about that one. He wanted a Serama but I told him that wasn't a good fit at all. I will get back to you guys hopefully today or tomorrow.

He's interested in a bantam faverolle Jeanine! PM me the details and if he could get a ride down here on Thursday morning, that would be awesome! He lives in Lacomb so not far from Albany at all

Just need a price (if there is one) and a time to meet up Thursday.

It usually takes me about 45 mins to an hour from Jeanine's to Albany - depending on how fast you drive
