I'm just throwing this out here for now...sending out feelers I guess you could say.... I have two pullets - a 3 month old red sex link and a 3 month old Sizzle Leghorn (she is white with black and brown spots in her frizzled feathers) - I think I should rehome but there are a few stipulations. They have to go together and they have to be kept together, no matter what....AND they can't be rehomed again. I want them to go to a forever home you could say where they will be spoiled and loved. Melinda, the red sex link, is a sweetie but very protective of Ingrid. She came with a special needs chick earlier this year who unfortunately died a couple days later (she was blind). Ingrid, the Sizzle Leghorn (from Keri78's breeding project of a tri colored Sizzle and a brown leghorn) bonded to Melinda since hatching. I mean they are literally inseparable. Ingrid cries if Melinda isn't near her at all times. It is odd for a bantam and a standard to be so close, but they are. They have never been outside - they live in one of the large cages my husband built - in our chicken room. I am not adding to my flock outside and I really feel bad keeping them locked up. At this point, I'm looking for interested parties and homes for them and will then make a decision based on the situations. So let me know if are interested and what type of life they would have with you. I know it's crazy to be this particular about such things but that's just me! Lol most of you know this already so it shouldn't be too shocking
