I don't need gifts but I always love a lunch date! I might be in NE sometime this week to get some fabric. We could meet and have lunch in Alberta Arts possibly. There're some really fun places on that street!

Let me know. This week might be iffy because I have to help at school to get them ready for their big field study to eastern oregon. It's a week long fossil/volcano/astronomy trip. I'll be bored next week though since it'll be only me, my 16 yo son, the dogs and the chickens at home. DH is going on the trip to as a roadie, setting up tents and general management of children. Which fabric store are you hitting?

No Good point! I'm going foraging on Mount Hood on Wed or Thurs. Totally spaced on that one! We got 15#s of morels this weekend!!!

we've been eating them rather excessively. Going to be drying a bunch of them tomorrow! More to come this week and weekend!

I think my bantam fav eggs I won will arrive this week. That will, however, be a problem because I am leaving my poor husband to take care of the dogs and chickens as my children and I head south to visit family for a week and a half. I don't think I can leave him in charge of an incubator. I could stick them under a broody if I have one. Would you consider incubating them for me? I'll come get them as soon as I get back. And of course I am already planning on sharing if you want any. These are the 3rd generation English eggs I impulsively purchased. I hope they're nice. Oh and I will owe you big time! We can talk renumeration.

I wish I liked 'shrooms. Sounds fun! I'm the only one in the family who hates them. My mom grew up in Germany foraging for mushrooms.
