She won't be going to Reed (we would have had to mortgage the house and auction off all the chickens to afford it

LOL - she is going to Oregon State Honor's college instead - still a very good school and almost completely paid for at this point) but I think the slumber party is still an awesome idea! As I just told Cloverleaf, I am not a camper so if nothing else, you guys can spend the night making fun of me

Totally off subject (kinda), but my eggs and cheesecakes are being sold by Emma at a booth here every Sunday this month - http://www.gazettetimes.com/news/local/article_dd52afd8-7a0e-11e0-b072-001cc4c002e0.html The booth is run by Mr. Lake's Knights of Independence group, a group my daughter help get off the ground this year with him. The group is a group of students who address contemporary issues and create thoughtful courses of action for positive change. If you are in Philomath on Sunday during the month of May, stop by and see all the great stuff being sold by various booths. I was told there is a woman with homemade salami and other meats

as well as lots of local produce and even roasted coffee beans (Mr. Lake's booth).....and did I mention my cheesecakes?

No but seriously we'll have a big wine n swine party where everyone who comes will get to sample all those delicious goodies!!!! Not for some time obviously!
 
Sounds like you had fun today, but there's just something.....wrong.....about trading chickens in the parking lot of a bbq place......I mean, what if today's special was a relative.....
