Random question meet 'stupid' question.
What do you do with button quail? Eat them, their eggs or are they just pets? I'm don't know what a quail is, I quess.

They're typically pets. You could eat them but basically they're like the serama of the quail world? Bright colored, make funny noises and friendly.

OK.

I'm interested. Are you thinking of hatching some before the swap? Are they better in groups? I do want some, I just not sure how many yet. About, how much are you charging per bird? And what type of feed do they eat?
Thanks,

Hi all,
I have two 16-week old white silkie roosters, Chuckie and Tommy, that I need to rehome

. I am thinking I will try to keep them until the Swap but they are starting to act like roos, so that may need to change. I went home today for lunch and poor Tommy's forehead had been plucked

I think my blue silkie is to blame though

I have been trying to avoid it since they are my babies, but I guess the time has come. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will try to keep them until October or if we can meet sooner that would be great. They are free

They are sweet little boys and Tommy has started to crow

I don't know how well they compare in the world of silkies, so if anyone needs to see feet, toes, etc I can get more pictures, just let me know what you need to see.

I will post on the Auction board as well.

thanks!

If there are no takers here I will also try the Animal Sanctuary in Estacada that took my polish roo.

Chuckie, my little friend
