I have to second this, something I learned the hard way. They act all crazy and want to get out but they really do ok and are much healthier it seems than the ones I took out too early. It killed me leaving them in there but I did it and I won't ever do it differently from now on. It made me realize I was the reason I was having such bad hatches most of the time

Was SO bummed when I found that little button quail yesterday. When I took the second one out of the bator I checked the temp and it had fallen to 96 for some reason so I put it back up to 99-100 and left it for another day. I went up and nothing this morning

As I was about to unplug it my son bumped it, a Brin Eco 10, and one of the eggs started peeping!

Thought I'd check in and see how all the hatchers are doing? I miss hatching but I don't lol...the waiting and no sleep nights kill me. Sending good vibes to all of you!

Down to 2 pairs and the 7 babies at the Castle (guess it might be time to fire up the Brinsea?). Discovered last night that 3 of the babies are frizzled, not just 1

Do you have any pips? If you don't, I'd probably reach in quick and grab him. I'd just be concerned there might be a pip where you can't see it. I guess this is his second day in there? Tomorrow you'll have to snag him out...

Have been busy today, first time I have been able to check on here and it is around 11:30pm already! Oh well, I think I'm going to take a hot bath with lots of bubbles and a very large glass of wine.
With the turkey still peeping and now Number1 chick's loud peep, the dogs are driving me crazy. The crowing, and the hens' noise doesn't effect the dogs, just the peeping. ??? I almost sent one packing today!

Don't know why the peeping (not for sure if it bothers or excites) makes the dogs loopy. But it is finally starting to quiet down.

That is why I have set down and started looking thru all the sites.

Looks like you and me had the same kind of day Paula. I cleaned 11 cages today, the house and did all the normal "farm" chores. I just finished a donut from Nutcakes and a large glass of wine. My morning appointment canceled so it looks like I get to sleep in

Hey all - today was actually the first day in a LONG time that I haven't HAD to do anything!!! I got to sleep WAY in, and then spent a good bit of my afternoon on my floaty in the pool with DS!

Getting ready to head to bed now, going to DH's company picnic at ahhhhhhhh! Oaks Park! tomorrow.....wish me luck with THAT!!
