Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 27, 2012 in Corvallis!!!

I'm just curious, is there any interest in plants at the swap? Nursery landscape plants, small shrubs, groundcovers, small trees. If so what would be the most wanted? I'm asking because we are in the Nursery business and we could possibly bring things if there was much interest?
I think there would be. I don't suppose you have a list of what you have? I have a few specific wants-like a pair of tall skinny bushes to go on either side of our front door.

I've thought long and hard about this, and unfortunately I can't see any way to add this to my schedule. I've been slightly overwhelmed by adding meat rabbits to my yard chickens, plus all the harvesting/preserving that is typical in summer/fall. Plus I took the Master Preserver course at the Extension, and have been volunteering to show others how to preserve... which includes teaching 3 one-session courses at LBCC in Sweet Home this Fall. And my hip that needs replacing is slowing me a lot... I'm not whining, just explaining why, although I'd really like to join you all, I won't be.

I hope it's a great show!

I have just posted in our FB swap group but wanted to update everyone here as well. Due to the change in policy for updating the first posts in threads, this will be the last Fall swap thread on BYC. We will be moving it to our website and our FB group after this swap ends. I will most likely be making a post on BYC regarding the swap but I will not be updating it like we have in the past. I will continue to update this thread until the swap. However the latest and most accurate information regarding swap day will be on our website. Please make sure you have it bookmarked.

I'd like to add that we will continue to promote BYC at this swap on our banner and flyers since they have been so good to us and is where it all started! Unfortunately, we needed to find easier and more efficient ways to get our information out to the public and swap goers!
