Oregon Fall Poultry Swap - October 27, 2012 in Corvallis!!!

How does this swap thing work. I have one Rose head rooster and and really pretty Aracona or Americana rooster I need to rehome. The both were chick in March and he is getting quit a big comb. I bought 15 pullets and 3 of them ended up being roosters. They are all in the same pen and seem to get along just fine and are not too pushy on the 11 hens. I really like the temperaments on the Rose heads. sadly the rose head hen got killed by a hawk today. she was tough and would challenge my male doberman through the fence. her boldness got her killed as I found her outside the pen where she must have flown out and the hawk got her. Anyway what do I do to sell or swap these two roosters.

I have a trio of young Black Lavender Split Ameracaunas. Would you be interested? If so I'll make sure I bring them to the swap.

I am unfamiliar with the term Black Lavender Split Ameracaunas, but I would be interested. How much are they and where can I find a photo?

Would there be any interest at this swap for freshly ground flour? We purchased several barrels of wheat straight from the field a couple of weeks ago for the chickens and personal use. The wheat grown here in the valley is a Soft White Wheat and when ground, it makes Whole Wheat Pastry Flour. I have a grain mill and could grind it to order a day or two before the swap, probably package it in Gallon Ziploc bags. If you have any specific questions about this type of flour, PM me. I have been doing lots of experimental cooking with it........ It is a lower protein and lower gluten flour.

I think anything is good to bring to this swap Zanna.
