Yes, I'd be interested in anything old enough to start breeding soon! My hen is just a bit over a year old and she is laying nicely and brooding them as well with our Naran tom but I'd like to pair her up with her own kind

Just thought I would get a list up in case someone has any of it now(lol, I am patient and can wait for the swap, but you know, better safe than sorry, wouldnt want a chicken to get away that might be right, "right now") or might have something later....

I now have 12 turkey poults available. 7 are Wild Eastern x Royal Palm and 5 are Royal Palm. They are less than a week old. I was told that of the mixes 1/2 would come out Naragansette and 1/2 Standard Bronze and that either of those could carry the blackwing gene. I cannot find a good picture of a Bronze poult that shows it's head markings.....but I think the 7 look like Naragansett poults. The 5 RP are PB. If you are interested PM me. I am in Colton but work in SE Portland..so I may be able to make arrangements for pick up at the shop. What I have left I will bring to the swap =)

I also have some brand new breeder poultry pens. I have 3 available. 40"x40"x40". Portable pen with door in the front, folds down for storage, heavy gauge wire with green rubber coating. Again if interested before the swap..PM me.

I have not been doing a great job on the FB thread either so I need to get my stuff together and get us rolling! For those of you who are not on FB, you may want to check out our website for the new Summer Swap information. It will be in August in Brownsville. Let's all support Lisa and get another swap off the ground!

Just few other reminders before I head off to try and get an update together. If you wish to participate in this swap, the fee is $5 payable as soon as you say you are coming. It can be paypaled to me or mailed. Contact me for more details. As of right now, we are filling up quickly so I am asking everyone to keep their needed tables to a minimum so everyone can participate in this swap. Once the inside spots are gone, the only spots will be outside. I will start a waitlist for the inside spots though - first come first serve if people cancel or do not show up.

Also on a personal note, if you wish to order cheesecakes from me, they are payable when you order. I will not be making many ...if any...extras so I am only planning on making the ones that are paid for upfront at this point.

We culled our flock down from 26, even removing a few hens and I'm very pleased with what we've ended up with. We do have all 4 colors, all patterns, and crested and uncrested stock. My two main roo's grew quick and are huge! I'm striving for a true dual-purpose breed ideally suited for free-ranging.
  • Cream Legbar-Sexed chicks, pullets, roos, hatching eggs This is an autosexing breed-chicks are sexed easily at hatch, blue eggs.
  • Sizzles (Frizzled and smooth hard feathered silkies)
