Oregon folks (Washington too) - Chicken Swap in Salem on June 13!

I am in Woodburn and it sound like i have enough time to hatch something... I have cochins in bantam and giant. I have marans in Cuckoo, blue/bl/splash and a great leghorn cochin cross... I could even throw my americana in with the marans for possible olive eggers.... I have eggs in those varieties for any egg tradies.
 
Yay! I have Salmon Faverolle eggs coming this week, so they'll be all hatched by then too! Pending hatch, I'll have mille fleur d'uccles, salmon faverolles, and if she doesn't mind her p's and q's one BO pullet!

I am looking for more orps...I only have a few myself. But hey I have a gorgeous pair of Orp Roosters (one Blue one Black) and I may part with one of them.

I have some extra EE and JM Rangers though. Thanks! I am learning how to make chicken saddles...maybe I will get better at it before the swap.

I need to thin out my cortunix quail. If some one wants a trio I know I have that around. All quail over 6 months old and under 10 months old. Females lay pretty good!



****LOL....anyone want rabbits? I have NZ/CA crosses that will be ready on the 13th. Momma (a CA type) has 8 every litter. I also have a few males from seperate lines that I am debating on keeping (2- rew NZ/CA mix males, and 1 grey NZ/GFlemish cross male). So if anyone is wanting a breeding of pair meat rabbits let me know. They are young (males are 9 weeks old), new batch are only 3 weeks old at the moment. I am sure there is a doe or two in the ones that are 3 weeks....I will know sexes soon (I am not so good under 4 weeks at sexing them). They are all black or Broken (Red and white). Momma is straight up California and Dad was a NZ broken buck.

not sure I'll have any chicks to trade - but I would love to snag a few JM Rangers - and possibly others - I can bring some of my art or buy (I paint pics of cats - but now that I'm chickencrazy plan to paint some of them - but probably won't have any by then) but if you like cats and want to trade lookk at my website www.fantasycatart.com and let me know what ones you like and I'll bring some (switchcovers, magnets, checkbookcovers, prints, cards etc) - I also have t-shirts now - if not I'll bring plain old cash. I can trade a worthless old dog. (husband would be mad though)
I'll see what I have. I know I'll have mutt eggs and maybe some mutt chicks.
We'll see what hatches. I should have enough time to set some eggs for hatching that weekend.
I may dig up some perennials-I have shasta daisies, calla lilies, and columbine for sure.
