Have Marans....BC by Jesse Bryant, Donna Gherke (bayhorsebonne), and Cree.... Have a very small blue pen of Davis...One roo/two hens.

am culling full sized hens that havent made the grade. Last years hopefull and this years dissappointments.. Will send decent roo for someone needing a jumping off point

Have extra cull birds (full sized from various collection)... they are my breakfast flock... will go ahead and part them out... I can eat any color eggs. They are marans pen. Two full sized Roos and a handful of hens... Don't ask why I keep extra roos in the breakfast pen... I just don't know.. ha ha..

Blue coshin eggies could part with a mated pair to right home.

A pene roo that I cross with Cree americaunas for Olive eggers... Could part with those Americaunas to right home and even throw in the Marans Roo (full grown and mounting) for an Olive egger pen for someone.

Guess I'll add to my stuff other than the BYC gear!

Want: This is a long shot; meat chicken of any type if you are ok with that.

And perhaps meat rabbit. (PM sent)
Have: Morning Glory starts, unknown type, but blue flowers with yellow/white centers.

They will be chicks. At the end of the summer when the chicks I'm hatching from another line are of breeding age, I will be selling some adults though!

How do you know their pullets so early in the game..Is it based on color? I am unfamiliar with the breed, but Im curious to know your method.

Yep, feather color...when the feathers first start coming in, many times even the pullets will be dark, but then when the wing feathers start coming in better, they are the salmon color...

Great info and good pics. Someone just called me today inquiring about getting some Salmon Faverolles and I couldn't think of anywhere off the top of my head. This cements in Cloverleaf Farm in Canby as the place for Salmon Faverolles.
