I should know by then how many of my chicks are pullets - they'll be 7-8 weeks old. I suspect, alas, that 2 of my 6 are cockerels and I'd need 2 more pullets.

Great info and good pics. Someone just called me today inquiring about getting some Salmon Faverolles and I couldn't think of anywhere off the top of my head. This cements in Cloverleaf Farm in Canby as the place for Salmon Faverolles.

Yep, definitely bringing some...so far all the salmons I've hatched out this month are pullets! I set 7 more fav eggs yesterday so I'd have more to bring!

I told hubby I wasn't bringing anything home from the swap so definitely going to have to sneak these babies in and the ones from Woods_Woman, lol. I'd love one, maybe two of the Faverolles if you have them Cloverleaf. I need to decide first if I'm bringing my two Barred Rock pullets (they will be about 7 weeks old by then), then I will know how many. Anyone possibly interested in Barred Rock pullets? They are pets so not meat birds please.

I'm excited!!!

I know, very silly of me huh?

Actually, though I had to, lol. He wasn't going to let me go alone if I didn't. Last thing I needed was him there monitoring me! LOL

Yep, that was my response to him too!

For the most part he leaves me alone with my chickens. He figures if he just ignores them 1) won't have to do anything to take care of them and 2) they might just all go away LOL. He did build me an awesome coop for them last summer so he must not think they are too bad

Plus seriously, he has no clue how many I have (other than a lot!) and he can't tell one of the other LOL. He doesn't even know the cat's names in the house!
