I bet! The ice tubs worked really well. I thought they'd just peck at the ice, but they climbed right in, lol.

That is sooooo cool!! I love the fans as well, so totally spoiled! How bad was the clean up in that garage?

Lol it was a mess. I had to take a hose to everything in there. Thankfully it was still way over 100 by the time I washed it down so it was totally dry by the time he pulled his car in

From Kelly, the woman looking for an olive egger EE and Wyandotte (thank you for the replies)...

Age isn't a huge issue, under a year for sure and I prefer at least eight weeks but as long as I know it is a girl it can even be younger than that. As for color I really enjoy the "different" colors, basically not the plain all over single colors, so the more variety or uniqueness to the color the better. But I'd take whatever I can get for color.

and

Haha, I know I'm going to go crazy and get more than I want but ialso just saw the bantam frizzle Cochin pullet, if she is still available I'd love her too!

Does anyone have the Frizzle Cochin pullet she is looking for? I haven't had time to go back through the list yet.....

I so wish I was set up for ducks! I just held my first baby duck a little bit ago at the feed store (little Pekings) and fell in love!!!

There are some people coming from the craigslist ad Eileen so you never know. Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow!

I don't breed my goats at all. They are all female; one is old and two are young. I don't have the energy at this point to deal with babies. The nubian is going to a new home because she is just too energetic for us. The pygmies are always the sweeties.

I have a black frizzle cochin chick! I'm just bringing one, and I think she's a girl.......still young, but doesn't look or act like a roo......

She mentioned yours and Cloverleaf's so either one that is available will be good. She will for sure be there tomorrow and she for sure wants one.

I just love my ducks, they are so much fun to watch, and I am totally looking forward to having duck eggs. Not mention the fringe benefits, such as eating HUGE slugs! Like so huge you can't believe the duck can get it down. They are messy though. I really admire the work involved in keeping them in pens or on small lots, I seriously wouldn't have more than a couple if I had to go that route. Babies are soooo cute though. My Muscovy babies are heartbreakers, every one of them. Here they are when I brought them home:

And here are two of the Kahkis when they were little:

Yes, I am shamelessly looking for an excuse to show them off.

ZooMummzy: You are a total rock star being able to get that garage clean before hubby made it home!

Hey, anybody remember, did Oregonjen invite all the Oregon BYCers to her open house? I just checked out her website and it looks NICE, I would love to go...Maybe I should PM her....
