Oregon Spring Poultry Swap April 23, 2011 in Canby!!!

My wife talked to him for a while I'll see if she got his name. He was from down near Roseburg I think, or maybe it was Drain. I can't remember.

REALLY hope to make it this time! got it on my calender and a note to request time off from work!!

Sounds like great fun!

So I've been looking at apartments near the university campus and I think I've found one! My current roommates refuse to compensate me for the things they've destroyed (they gave me less than half of what the silkies were worth, and since then the dogs have somehow gotten past closed doors with baby gates to bodily slam things off of my dresser in order to get at some very expensive chocolate) and they're so loud all the time that I have trouble focusing to study. Plus it's about half an hour commute to school and one of my jobs from there, so... I'm moving!

Unfortunately, this means that I wouldn't be able to have chickens at the apartment; however! My friend lives on an acre just a few blocks from the apartments I'm looking at, and she wants chickens. It's going to turn into this: She takes care of my chickens and they live on her land. We swap back and forth buying food, and whenever I need eggs I just go to her back yard and get some. Also, since we have history and choir together, we can sit and watch the chooks while working on our music or going over the notes for tests. I guess by the time I get the chickens, we won't still have history together, but we'll both be in choir and we can always sing if we run out of things to talk about.
