Ok, so I got a little carried away at a chick auction at a show today...anybody need some bantam chicks?? LOL I have 4 buff bantam cochins, 4 white bantam polish, and 4 buff laced bantam polish. These all came from Duane Urch, and if I recall correctly they said all the polish were bearded...they look to be about 2 weeks old. $5/chick right now, straight run. Thanks!!

The funny thing is that as much as he'll NEVER admit it, DH is catching the "chick bug" too! LOL He was sitting right next to me the whole time and never said a word! LOL AND he was scoping out this HUGE brooder box that was for sale, and says "you know, I can't build it for that price, you should just buy one"!! WHHHAAAAAT?!? OK!!

And THEN when I asked where on earth we were going to put it he said "maybe we can find a fish tank stand for it".....

We should get our husband's together. Mine spent yesterday building me this beautiful cage, modifying another one and is scoping out how many more we need for the Seramas LOL I guess if they can't beat us they have to join us?

Hey same time frame for mine! Must be the magic number : D Yeah mine talks big too but when I went to the Ohio National in November and one of my chickens got an eye infection and went blind, he spent the entire week babying her, giving her meds, hand feeding...all his big talk is for naught

Yeah, same here though he will take care of them. He tells me when he divorces me for that ONE more chicken I get

the animals are all mine, he won't fight for custody! (I should have been divorced about 3 years ago with that threat lol)
