oooh, so sweet! My local store starts their chick parade on 2/25... I'm trying so hard to resist! But of course, I have a list on my fridge of what they're getting when, just in case I can't resist.

Lol I even told them last week..."do not let me buy any chicks!" Of course they didn't listen to me

I have 4, sigh lol...Cloverleaf, probably going to add two of them to my "have list" but I'll let you know. The sweet part is they were vent sexed pullets! My friend there grew up on a ranch and learned to vent sex early. He has been 100% on all the chicks I've ever had him sex.

I can't stand it! If I go in the feed store for food, I cannot go over by the chicks. I refuse to walk over there. I know what will happen.

So I did a bad thing...I ordered eggs for my broody BA. Bantam Buff Brahmas, from SQ stock. Why-oh-why did I do this? It's all my computer's fault. I have been having trouble with it and I was cleaning off and backing up. As I was looking through my bookmarked sites I peeked in at an auction. Dang it, there they were! I had to bid on them. I just had to. Crud. I think I'll just give a couple to Fran and put most of them in the incubator. Oh but I love them!

Now you know why I haven't been on very much...computer troubles.
 
Those are beautiful chicks. Our farm store isnt even selling chicks until March. Hand on wallet. Saving for swap instead. Plan on spending there and enriching fellow BYC members. Help me to remember that please!
