She's a little sweetheart. Tonight she was trying to fly around the cage (it's too small for that, lol), running like a crazy chick, then she passes out cold

I am too excited to go to sleep now. I went in to check eggs in incubator, my second batch of seramas. Been about 6 days, couldn't stand any longer. Got the candler out. Just when I was getting down(I know it's early) I spotted veins, took egg to the darkest corner; A tinie, tiny heartbeat!!! I almost screammed. So before I dropped the little guy, I carefully put it back and ran to the phone to call hubby. (Now how come he can't be as excited as I am??) OK maybe it's the little things, but I have been trying so hard with these little birds. I hatched eggs with mom last summber, no problems. It is a homemade incubator, but I have everything set up by the book. My husband says I'm trying to hard. If I get only 1, thats ok. It will just be the most expensive little tiny chicken on the planet, but it will be mine!! PRAY FOR MY LITTLE EGG!!

Also I will probably get somewhere between 2-5 as I have quite a few different varieties
already but it looked like you had some in your pictures that I don't have.

I am going to try to limit myself to just a few things...I'm already getting eggs from pips&peeps and maybe a few other people...but I'm not sure what else I'll end up with, yet!

That sounds great! Just let me know how many you're bringing and what you want for them....I can set them with the blue wheatens I'm getting from Jean.
