Just got back from the show and again I'm exhausted. I told cloverleaf I'm gonna post that her son won reserve AOCCL with his black bantam Ameraucana!

We took one MFC and she got BV but one of the black cochin pullets got RV and RB. The MFC got a lot of attention...kids really liked her. She was a conversation starter.

And I won't tell you who all bought what (I'll let them break the news...) but several BYC'ers bought some gorgeous birds and won some amazing eggs! And at the next show in October, we have to have a BYC hospitality table complete with wine and cheese cake, well at least cheese cake!! I met so many BYC'ers and even saw Chickenrustler (on the WA thread, know to be secretive!). My son and I had way too much fun with our BYC friends and their wonderful kids! I can't wait for next weekend!

Oh and don't believe a certain someone when she tells you I made her buy the trio...I only slightly suggested it......

So Ayeupchuck has talked me into bringing some of the Lemon Blues, but they're $15 each (sorry, that just covers my cost and shipping). PM me if you're interested!

Back to the poultry...I ran up to Stevenson today for one purpose. I brought back 5 new blue bantam Araucana chicks to add to my breeding group. I hope to have this project up and running by this fall. Also pictured are a few day old polish and a couple of quail.
