Dang! Do you teach brewing classes, AyeUp?? I would seriously love to learn how... I've read all the instructions, but left to myself, I'd still get something wrong!

Well if we really do have a BYC slumber party, we could brew a batch but yeah I'm totally open to teach brewing. It's fun and easy. In fact Laura you'd love it too. ALL kinds of crazy fun things you can add to beer. I did a Cardamom IPA that was DANGEROUS! It was gorgeous and it was 8%...... yeah......

I PM'd you about veggie starts... if you have aloe vera as one of your succulents, I'd love a couple!
(I"m gonna really have to get creative about getting all this stuff home!!)

Yeah sorry! It's been kind of crazy. Had two custom cakes due yesterday, promised DH no BYC last night, and then my fam flew in to surprise me since they knew I thought they were going to be here for my birthday last weekend! I'll PM you in a little bit. Oh and I'm totally down for trading for some jam or marmalade for some of the veggies and succulents!

Alright, so I am bad... all these cute chicken pictures. I now have 5 leghorn chicks... in addition to my 4 baby budgies, 3 adult budgies, 1 tiel, 3 hamsters, 2 temporary rabbits, and an aquarium in the apartment...Luckily the rabbits go to their regular home monday. What can I say? I've never been to Costal in Albany and had to go all the way to Washington this morning to get my emissions testing done.

As for those baby budgies, hand feeding the one tiel for two months was enough! Technically the budgie parents are raising their babies so I don't have to do any work. LOL

The show was fun, I really enjoy seeing all the different breeds in one place. So many beautiful birds made we want more but my husband was there to say NO for me

My weekend has been busy with peeps hatching and some Penedescana peeps arriving at the feed store

I have peeps coming out my ears. the incubator chicks are BLRW. It was a dozen plus shipped eggs. 16 hatched with two that did nothing so I feel very fortunate with the hatch. As I look into the tote there are two stand outs that are not BLRW and have feathers on their feet so I am thinking Cochin chicks but time will tell. The Penedescana peeps are in the barn with the Egyptian Fayoumi peeps.

Bringing to the swap:

Available:
10 month old Brabanter hen, currently laying one a day

10 month old Jersey Giant/ Gold laced wyandotte cross Roo. Very beautiful bird. He needs his own hens. His size is of the JG. We named him Red. Nice to be around no issues.

2 (5 1/5 month old) Black Sexlink pullets.

Spoken for:
2 (5 1/5 month old) Black Sexlink pullets.

Andalusians, huh? I have a hen I would like to ID, she looks like that pic. I had Black Minorcas and I thought they were the same build as the Andalusians. This hen I have now is shaped more like an Australorp.

Any ideas?
