Oregon Spring Poultry Swap April 23, 2011 in Canby!!!

I'm being lazy here - sorry, post cheesecake letdown lol - but I have a friend who adopted 4 of my bantams who is looking for some layers. She doesn't want anything fancy, just plain jane layers

She loves BO's and also EE's or other colored eggs. The would have to be at least old enough to go outside now - no little chicks. If you can help her out, let me know today if possible so I can be in touch with her. I will be out of town all day tomorrow in Portland at Reed College with my daughter for her orientation. It gives me heart palpitations just saying that name lol (the price tag is astronomical!)

Gasp...choke...My sister is paying $55K a year for Wash U in St Louis! Of course I'd love to have that problem...right now my 16 year old son has informed me that he's not going to college and school doesn't matter. Any one want to trade some chickens for a 16 year old boy?

Nah, nevermind...I put a lot work into him. I better keep him. Maybe he'll come around and think of something useful he would like to do with his life. I just hope it's not at age 30!

Hey hey you cant sell 16 year old boys they have to be 18 well i guess depending on the state you live in. And by the way Ah no Boys are Bad Unless they can build chicken coops. then you can just rent them.

I don't know if I can join the chickaholic group, don't you have to admit you have a problem first. I do not have a problem, I do not have a problem, maybe I do but I'm not admitting it, hehe

Yep, Reed is $58K a year

It's her decision though about how much debt SHE wants to go into

I am extremely proud of her though. She applied to two very good schools and was accepted into both - Reed and OSU Honors University. She has to decide by May 1st so we'll see!

Ok so we all know its a long road to recovery paved by many hardships swaps, shows, my friend has baby chicks do you want some . I know that it has been tough to get this far but you have a inkling that something may be wrong. Just look into your self and then look out into the yard, basement, kids room, den, living room, dinning room, YOUR room and say maybe it is time to reach out and get some help. Just remember we are all here for you we all can come together this weekend hold hands and talk things over and then when we are finally ready to let go and say OK I Am A ADDICT we will all get up and do THE CHICKEN DANCE

We Will Support You in your road to recovery

LOL Yesterday, the canine drug police car kept driving by my house...I mean like 12 times in 2 hours! I thought to myself, "I knew all these brooder lights on every level of my house were going to get me in trouble eventually. The neighbors finally turned me in for having a grow operation" Yes, I need to attend that first meeting at my table badly

Boy I am glad I went to an instate public university... Those 4 years of tuition would be less than one year at Reed! Shoot, that one year of Reed tuition is almost as much as my tuition + room and board was for all four years!!!! Actually, scratch that. I bet my dad is happy I picked UW as he forked the bill.

At least he doesn't have to pay for grad school. LOL
